Request an Irrigation Design
To obtain a professional irrigation design, download our grid paper below, sketch your property to scale, and then complete the questionnaire and upload your plan. If you encounter any issues, please call (02) 6971 0210 or use the live chat feature located in the bottom right corner.
✅ How it works +
- Download the A4 or A3 grid paper, draw your site to scale, and add measurements and key locations.
- Complete the questionnaire, upload your plan, photos, and any notes about plants, lawn, and water source.
- Approve the design fee and submit. We review your plan and will contact you if we need any clarification.
- Receive your design pack, which includes a site layout, zone breakdown, parts summary, and a supply and install option if requested.

- Scaled design drawing with zones, valves, pipe sizes, and controller location.
- Hydraulic notes that suit your water source and target application rates.
- Parts summary for supply, along with a supply and installation price if requested.
- Recommendations for future expansion if needed.
📝 Plan checklist +
- Property boundaries, building footprints, paths, driveways, and garden beds, all to scale.
- Tap, tank, pump, and water meter locations with distances to key areas.
- Lawn and garden zones, plant types if known, and any areas to exclude.
- Elevation changes if relevant, even rough estimates help.
- Clear photos of the site are best; wide shots are ideal.
Tip: Add a north arrow and a scale, for example, 1 square equals 1 metre.
Flow & Pressure Testing
Required before we can start your designAccurate flow and pressure test results are crucial for designing an effective irrigation system. Sprinklers and dripline operate at set pressures, and knowing your flow at those pressures tells us how many sprinklers or zones can run efficiently.
We require test results at:
- 200 kPa (≈ 30 psi)
- 250 kPa (≈ 35 psi)
- 300 kPa (≈ 45 psi)
A bucket-and-stopwatch test won’t work, as it only measures flow at zero pressure. Irrigation systems always run under pressure, so a proper flow test is critical.
We also have a digital flow & pressure tester available for hire ($100 deposit, fully refundable on return).

All design fees are credited in full when you purchase your system from us. Turnaround times vary depending on the type of design you choose.

Do I need exact measurements
Accurate measurements help. If you are unsure, mark the estimates and we will confirm what we need.
Can you install it for me?
Yes, we can supply only or supply and install. Tell us which you prefer.
How do I show plant types?
Add a short note for each garden bed, such as 'hedges', 'natives', or 'tropical', or leave it blank, and we will recommend a general setup.
What if I only have photos?
Upload the photos and a rough sketch. We can guide you on what else is needed.

- Scan your sketch, or take a sharp photo in good light, square to the page.
- Allowed file types: PDF, JPG, PNG. Max size as per form limits.
- Add up to 5 supporting photos if needed.
Heads up: Submissions without a legible plan will be returned with notes on what needs to be corrected. This saves you time and avoids guesswork on-site.
